A qualified accountant with a diploma in International Financial Reporting and Auditing, Aidan is a director in the consultancy, training and development directorate at the Institute of Public Administration. He provides and is responsible for governance and financial management services to customers and clients within the public, state and not for profit sector. The services incorporate consultancy, advisory, facilitation and training and professional development programmes.
Current and recent consultancy assignments have focussed on corporate governance, internal audit and risk management, control effectiveness reviews, financial management reporting, budgetary management and performance indicators. Aidan has been lead consultant in a number of assignments, across public and state organisations, developing and supporting the implementation of risk management systems.
The spectrum of governance services provided by Aidan and his colleagues include, board and senior management briefings, workshops, seminars and facilitation services, focusing on:
