This part-time Diploma explains how organisations effectively manage people. It does so by examining the aims of the HRM function and by detailing its key features. It is suitable for those who have no prior knowledge of HRM but want to understand the principles, law, and practices that determine the management of staff in the modern workplace.
The Diploma is designed for those who want to obtain a solid understanding of the HR function. They may already work in that area or may wish to do so.
This programme takes one academic year. It begins in late September and ends with examinations in mid April. It can be taken in three different ways:
Evening lectures at the IPA in Dublin
Evening lectures at selected regional centres

Employee Resourcing, Development and Performance Management
Human Resource Leadership and Strategy
The Diploma in Financial Management is accredited by the National University of Ireland (NUI).
This programme is assessed through assignments (one assignment for each subject) and final examinations.
