Whitaker School Programmes: Research-Led and Practice-Informed

The Whitaker School of Government and Management is the leading Irish provider of accredited undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in the broad field of public management. The School is named after T.K. Whitaker, one of the most influential public servants in the history of the State. Programmes are part-time so as to meet the needs of adult students in employment, and they are delivered via a blended learning model that combines in-person and online teaching. They are accredited by the National University of Ireland, of which the IPA is a recognised college.

The Whitaker School specialises in research-led and practice-informed higher education, linking the theories of public management disciplines to the working lives of students. It prides itself on helping students with busy jobs and family lives to learn new and important things and to obtain advanced qualifications in fields of perennial value. Our students genuinely enjoy their time studying with us, and they make lasting friendships and contacts.
