Notice of temporary relocation of IPA Library Service
To facilitate urgent building remedial work on part of the IPA campus the IPA Library service has been temporarily relocated to Room 5 within the IPA Teaching and Learning centre.
Library staff will continue to be available to answer all queries from students during our regular opening hours. However, during this period the Library reading rooms will be closed to students and students will be unable to use the study desks or browse the book shelves for reading material. An alternative reading room has been setup for students to use, we ask that students come to Room 5 first and Library staff will show you to the study room location.
A selection of frequently borrowed books are available for students to borrow in Room 5. The Library will endeavour to provide access to any other reading material requested by students by providing access to an eBook version or through an interlibrary loan from Trinity College Dublin.
Online access to the Library catalogue, electronic databases of journals and eBooks is not effected and students should continue to access online resources through the Library Moodle page.
Spring Term Opening Hours
Monday - Thursday 9.15am-7pm, Friday 9.15am-5pm. Saturday 20th April 9am-2pm.
Summer Hours start on Wednesday 24th April, Monday - Friday 9.15am-5pm.

If you are not a current IPA student or member of staff and wish to visit the Library please make arrangements in advance.
Services:
- The IPA Library provides information, reference and lending services to Institute students, members and staff. The Library has a range of services to assist in meeting your information needs, including electronic databases and journals. The Library is constantly adding new books, both in print and eBook format, to the collection, you can view our NEW BOOKS GUIDE for information on our recent acquisitions. If it is not possible to come to the Library in person, you may request material by e-mail or phone. A postal service is available for all students. The Library staff can offer help and guidance where appropriate.
- Students involved in research or dissertation work should contact the Library staff for information on a range of resources that might be of relevance.
