Services
The Library provides information, reference and lending services to Institute students, members and staff. The Library has a range of services to assist in meeting your information needs. If it is not possible to come to the library in person you may request material by letter, fax, phone, or by e-mail. The Library staff can offer help and guidance where appropriate.
A postal service is available for our distance education students. Those who live in or near Dublin should, where possible, visit the Library in person as it provides an opportunity to browse and select from a wide range of books and journals. Up to three books may be borrowed for two weeks for home use.
A copy of most books on our student reading lists is kept in a reference collection in the Library. This set is only available for consultation in the Library.
Requests to the library for photocopies must be submitted on a signed photocopy request form, to comply with copyright legislation. Please click here to download photocopy request form.
Students involved in research or dissertation work should contact the Librarian or one of the Assistant Librarians for information on a range of information sources that might be of relevance.
