NUI is planning events to coincide with the centenary of Éamon de Valéra’s inauguration later in the year. To mark the centenary of his election, today, the University has gathered archival material and a short commemoration video with contributions from David McCullagh (journalist and biographer of Éamon de Valéra), Éamon Ó Cuív, TD (grandson of Éamon de Valéra) and Dr Maurice Manning (Chancellor of NUI) available on the NUI website from 1pm, 20 July 2021.
