Learning Outcomes

On completion of this online course, participants will be able to: 

  • Understanding the necessary building blocks to create a business case and consider the strategic relevance of the business case.  
  • Recognise the critical information requirements to help build a business case .  
     
Course Content

This half day course reviews the critical elements required to build a business case to support projects/programmes under the Public Spending Code.

Building a Business Case for the Public Spending Code will prepare those interested in developing compelling business cases.  Participants will learn about business cases in general, when they are used, how to align the business case with the appropriate policy, and what research and information is needed to include in a business case.
