This two-day Social Media Strategies course has been designed specifically for the Irish Public Sector to enable staff to produce an effective strategy for managing social media and to significantly improve communication and engagement.

The course is led by an experienced social media practitioner and is designed for staff responsible for the oversight and/or development of social media programmes. Participants will benefit from a mix of critical reviews, reflective learning and practical exercises and will also produce a social media framework for their organisation.

It provides a proven best practice model that helps ensure project delivery is on time, on budget, of high quality and meets customer requirements. The PRINCE2 2017® Foundation Exam Preparation Course and Certification is a three-day intensive, instructor-led course designed to teach participants the fundamental building blocks of the PRINCE 2® approach and to prepare them for the PRINCE2 2017® Foundation Certificate exam.

The A – Z of Irish Local Government is designed to give an overview of each of the key services, and the principal pieces of legislation underpinning the services currently being provided by Local Authorities in Ireland. The A - Z of Irish Local Government is ideal for anyone (either from a Local Authority or from an organisation associated with the Local Government sector) who wants to develop a more wide-ranging knowledge of the sector.  This programme is currently available as a series of pre-recorded videos.

The modular Legislative Training Programme is available for delivery online.  It addresses legislation pertaining to the areas of Housing, Planning, Environment, Water and Roads & Transportation Services in Irish Local Authorities. There are two sessions allocated to each of the five Service areas.  This programme is currently available as a series of pre-recorded videos.

The primary purpose of the CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice qualification is to develop participants’ knowledge and skills and to build their expertise, confidence and credibility to deliver value in their organisations and to the people served by Human Resources (HR) and Learning and Development (L&D) professionals. This qualification will give participants a solid foundation for careers in the people profession, incorporating both Human Resources and Learning & Development.

CIPD qualifications set the international standard for people professionals. When participants complete the qualification, they will be awarded CIPD Foundation Membership, and the designation “Foundation CIPD” after their name. This starts to build their credibility in the people profession, shows that they are serious about their development and that they have a strong base of knowledge to build on.
