- Learning Outcomes
Following completion of the practice psychometric assessment and personality test and the one-to-one coaching session participants will have:
- Completed and gained exposure to a verbal, numerical and abstract psychometric test;
- An understanding of the types of questions be asked throughout the tests;
- Completed and gained exposure to Personality Test – understand areas of behaviours you need to work on;
- Discussed a possible action plan how to improve on those behaviours ahead of the next personality test.
- Course Content
The format for completing the practice psychometric assessment and personality test and the one-to-one coaching session is as follows:
In advance of the One-to-One Coaching Session:
- Participants will submit a completed the Adapt-G
- Verbal Reasoning
- Numerical Reasoning
- Abstract Reasoning
- Participants will submit a completed 15FQ Personality Test
- Focusing on the five to nine competencies identified by HR professionals
- Focusing on Emotional Intelligence
- Focusing on Dysfunctional Behaviours
The qualified psychometric assessor will collate your scores.
During the One-to-One Coaching Session:
- The coach will provide a detailed feedback on the scores on the tests.
- The coach will focus on what areas need work and what areas are priority from identified competencies.
- The coach and candidate will then select areas identified previously for development from the behavioural competency and develop a plan for improvement.
The Scope of the Psychometric Assessment and Personality Test content will include the following:
Ability Questionnaire Verbal Test
15 questions (6 minutes to complete)
The verbal component of the Adapt – G assesses a person’s ability to use words in a logical way. Consisting of items which involve understanding of vocabulary, class membership and the relationships between words.
Ability Questionnaire Numerical Test
15 questions (8 minutes to complete)
The numerical component of the adapt – G assesses a person’s ability to use numbers in a logical a rational way. The tests consist of items which assess the candidates understanding of number series, numerical transformations and the relationship between numbers.
Ability Questionnaire Abstract Test
15 questions (8 minutes to complete)
The abstract component of the Adapt – G assesses the ability to understand complex concepts and assimilate new information outside of previous experience. The tests consist of items which require the recognition of patterns and similarities between shapes and figures.
15FQ Personality Test
Measures Competency levels on the Five – Nine Competency Framework Model. The competencies were selected to provide a clear picture of a respondent’s capabilities within a framework familiar with most HR professionals, which can be derived from personality traits. With a coaching feedback report.
