C|CISO provides a comprehensive executive level programme in IT Security from governance to policy setting, legal, procurement and finance. C|CISO provides the certification required to demonstrate competency in executive-level IT security management and is certified by EC Council.

A core group of high-level information security executives, the C|CISO Advisory Board, contributed by forming the foundation of the programme and outlining the content that would be covered by the exam, body of knowledge, and training. Some members of the Board contributed as authors, others as exam writers, others as quality assurance checks, and still others as trainers. Each segment of the programme was developed with the aspiring CISO in mind and looks to transfer the knowledge of seasoned professionals to the next generation in the areas that are most critical in the development and maintenance of a successful information security programme.

Key Facts

Delivery of the C|CISO course is comprised of a mix of expert trainer knowledge and practical learning, culminating in a certified exam. It is delivered by an EC-Council Certified Instructor.

The course is delivered in two parts.  Dates are:

Part 1: 4-5 October 2017
Part 2: 10-12 October 2017

Entry Requirements

Candidates interested in earning the C|CISO Certification must qualify via EC-Council’s Exam Eligibility application before sitting for the C|CISO Exam. Only students with at least five years of experience in three of the five domains are permitted to sit for the C|CISO Exam.

Any student who does not qualify to sit for the exam or who does not fill out the application will be permitted to take the EC-Council Information Security Manager (EISM) exam and earn that certification. EISMs may then apply for the CCISO Exam once they have achieved the required years of experience.

Cancellation Policy: Please note, that in the event of a cancellation less than 48 working hours before the commencement of a course, a 15% cancellation fee will be charged.  Cancellation fee will also apply to non-arrivals on the day.

Course Leader

The Institute of Public Administration is an EC-Council official authorised training centre, that is able to provide official Instructor Led Training.  This course is delivered by Tom Brett who is an EC-Council Certified Instructor.
