The GDPR and Data Protection Programme for Data Protection Officers (DPOs) in the Public Service is a five day programme aimed at public servants with responsibility for Data Protection within their organisation. The programme was developed to inform, and support public sector Data Protection Officers in their roles, by providing a common shared approach and understanding of key data protection knowledge and challenges within the public sector.
The programme content was informed, and guided by, the Civil Service DPO Network, to ensure the key topics are relevant and appropriate to the work of DPOs, and the wider network of public servants supporting the GDPR and Data Protection function within their organisations.
Dates have been confirmed for the next programme, which will commence in October 2024.
