The IPA Governance Forum will be holding a briefing on the morning of Thursday, 4 May 2017 that will discuss the accountability of State Boards and factors that support board effectiveness. It will also look to identify areas to address in future research. There will be two presentations and a panel discussion involving contributions from:
- Robert Watt, Secretary General, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform
- Paul Turpin, Governance Specialist, Institute of Public Administration
- Margaret Cullen, Corporate Governance Specialist
- Donal de Buitleir, Director, Publicpolicy.ie
Aidan Horan, Director with responsibility for IPA Governance Services, will chair the event.
