Leadership Development

A key role of leadership is building an inclusive working environment and facilitating the involvement of others in discussions, planning and decision making when appropriate. Facilitation skills are also essential for working collaboratively across organisations, cross-functionally and when engaging the public.  Facilitating the involvement of others encourages creativity and innovation and strengthens decision making and engagement. This leads to better outcomes and greater success in implementation of initiatives.

Broadening your leadership competency portfolio by strengthening your facilitation skills and toolkit is therefore critical. As a facilitator you need to find a balance between managing group dynamics and delivering outcomes. This balance requires expanding your toolkit and skill base to be agile, adaptable and results focused.

This course is relevant to those with experience, looking to re-fresh and strengthen their skills, as well as to those with limited facilitation experience, looking to broaden their leadership competency portfolio.
