Leadership Development

Strategies to Create an Inclusive Organisation

Recent headlines regarding abuses of power have highlighted widespread incidences of bullying and harassment as well as neglect of staff inclusion and engagement.  These issues alert us not only to the challenges of leadership but also highlight the perils of ignoring the importance of organisational culture and inclusive values, promoting dignity at work.

While many organisations have the appropriate policies in place, the leadership challenge centres on delivering on or living up to the policy goals stated.  Leadership is about delivering results in organisations; it needs to role model and instil appropriate behaviours to build organisational cultures where differences are valued and dignity at work is actively promoted.

Progressing issues raised in the January 2018 Masterclass on ‘Building an Inclusive Culture’, this one-day workshop focuses on the practical steps in implementing policy.  We’ll demonstrate, by drawing on case examples and providing practical guidance, how strengthening implementation will bring wide ranging social, ethical and performance benefits for the organisation.
