Standards in Private Rented Accommodation Seminar – Exploring Enforcement will take place at Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise, Co. Laois on Wednesday, 6 November 2024. The full-day seminar will take place from 9.40am to 3.30pm.

This event is being organised on behalf of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage by the Institute of Public Administration.

  • LGMA IT Project Update

    Update on the project to develop a private rental inspections module in the new LGMA national IT system, followed by a Q & A session
  • Minimum Rental Standards
    Discussion on topical issues raised by participants facilitated by Michelle Mc Nally, Principal Environmental Health Officer, Dublin City Council
  • Building Resilience at Work
    John Ryan, CEO, Healthy Place to Work
  • Fire Safety in Rented Dwellings
    Ryan Lally, Assistant Chief Fire Officer, Wicklow County Fire Service, followed by a Q & A Session
