Joanna joined the IPA in 2000. She carries out research and consultancy work in the area of public management, with a particular focus on reform in the area of human resource management. Joanna has an MA in Public Policy from UCD and an MBS in human resource management from DCU. Joanna presents her research findings and teaches on various IPA programmes. She is also the editor of Administration, the journal of the Institute of Public Administration -  see Degruyter.
