Edwin is a Senior Human Resource Management generalist involved in the design and delivery of a range of skills development programmes for HRM practitioners and line managers. Edwin is also an experienced consultant who has advised on the development of HRM Strategy and Policies for a range of Public and Private Sector clients at home and abroad.
Edwin has extensive operational consultancy and training experience, having worked for a local government/health management IR negotiation body; he has been an industrial relations negotiator with a major union, and has acted as an IPA/HRM Specialist dealing with a range of agencies over the past sixteen years.
Edwin has extensive experience in the design and delivery of the full range of people management related training programmes for HRM Practitioners and line managers. He has a particular interest in the areas of devolving responsibility to line managers for people management and equality in all aspects of employment practice.
Edwin directs the annual IPA/Electronics Industry Survey of management Salaries & Benefits.
Edwin is Director of the IPA/CIPD Certificate programmes for both Civil Service and Public Sector HRM and Learning and Development Practitioners. In this context and in his work with other clients he has extensive experience of Interview Skills, Performance Appraisal Skills, Grievance and Discipline Management, Absenteeism Control and Negotiating Skills Training.
He is also an experienced independent assessor and has extensive overseas experience as a trainer and senior advisor on aspects of HRM Reform in Zambia, Romania, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.
