Lily is a Human Resource Management Specialist in the IPA’s Human Resource Management Training and Consultancy Unit and Director Mediation Training Programmes and Services.  She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and holds an MSc. (Distinction) in Human Resource Management & Training from Leicester University, UK.  She is an Accredited Mediator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (U.K.) and the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland (MII).

Prior to taking up her current position she was Personnel Officer with the Institute for approximately 10 years and draws on this operational experience in developing and delivering Human Resource Management related services to clients of the Institute.

In her current role she is responsible for the development and delivery of a wide range of Human Resource Management Training and Consultancy Services to clients across the public sector including government departments, health boards, local authorities and various other public service related bodies as well as to overseas clients in the public sector area.  She is also tutor to students on the Institute’s IPA/CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Practice Programme and previously acted as Director of this Programme.

Lily is solely responsible for the development and delivery of all Mediation Training Programmes and related consultancy work and services provided by the Institute.  As an accredited Mediator she also provides a mediation (case work) service to clients of the Institute.  She has a particular interest in raising awareness of mediation across the public service in particular.

Lily also has specific training and experience in group facilitation and employee counselling.  She is a BELBIN accredited trainer. She holds a Diploma in Counselling Skills from NUI Maynooth and she is a qualified practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
