Identification of Training Needs
The identification of training needs process, which the Institute offers, is targeted at either the whole organisation or sections/departments within the local authority. It provides for a review of existing plans and practice. It includes interviewing key managers and staff. Workshops for staff are also a feature of the process. The ITN includes an analysis and report to the personnel officer, which will facilitate a structured approach to meeting raining needs.
