Mary joined the IPA in September 2024 as Director of Professional Development, and is responsible for leading the professional development and advisory services to the public service.
Mary has over twenty years’ professional experience in public and private sectors, including senior roles in strategic development and implementation, management, and governance in higher education. In those roles, Mary has worked collaboratively to develop and scale successful programmes of education, training, communications, consultancy and research.
Mary has served on boards as a voluntary Non-Executive Director and on national advisory groups and consultative fora in sustainable development and sustainability.
She holds a Masters in Sustainable Development, a Masters in Leadership & Management Practice, a B.A. in Business, and various postgraduate and CPD qualifications in climate and sustainability, management accounting, justice and governance.
