Foundations of Web Design is an elective module on the Diploma in Computer Studies. It can also be taken on a stand-alone basis. The Foundations of Web Design module teaches you essential web page development skills. You will learn to develop web sites using Hypertext Markup Language version 5 (HTML5) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

The module is based on the CompTIA A+ Certification which is generally classed as the starting point for any career in Information Technology.

ITIL Foundation provides the ideal introduction to the IT Service Management approach of ITIL.

This ITIL® Foundation Training Course will give delegates an understanding of the key concepts, terminology and elements of ITIL, allowing you to improve your career prospects and abilities within the workplace. Students will learn about the lifecycle stages and the links between them, the different processes used and how they contribute to service management practices.

The Heads of Information Systems in Local Authorities Conference is an annual event.   In 2022 the Conference was held on 30-31 March in Sligo.  The Conference is only open to Heads of Information Systems / Head of Information Technology in Local Authorities in Ireland.
