The A-Z of Irish Local Government is designed to give an overview of each of the key services, and the principal pieces of legislation underpinning the services currently being provided by Local Authorities in Ireland. The A-Z of Irish Local Government is ideal for new entrants to a local authority or existing staff members who would like to expand their knowledge of their local authority. This includes indoor, outdoor, technical, and administrative staff. It is an excellent programme for helping staff prepare for interviews.  The programme is currently available as a series of ten live webinars that are tailored to an individual Local Authority.

Key Facts

The A-Z of Irish Local Government is currently available as an in-house tailored programme for Local Authorities in Ireland.  It is delivered via online webinars.

All participants will have access to 10 live webinars that will include time for questions, interactive tasks, and links to helpful resources. These webinars will be recorded and available for 12 weeks. 

Themed quizzes are designed to help participants embed and consolidate their learning. They will be linked by themes and helpful tips to remember key points will be shared during each webinar.

For in-house delivery in your Local Authority, dates can be arranged at a negotiated rate. The course delivered is tailored and bespoke to your local authority with materials, documentation and organisation-specific information provided
