This half-day online GDPR Awareness Briefing is similar in content to the Introduction to Data Protection and GDPR but is aimed as people who are not directly involved in the processing of personal data but who should have a high-level working knowledge of GDPR.

Competency Based Interviewee Preparation will be delivered as a half-day online workshop.  It is suitable for staff at all levels of the organisation who are eager to improve their interview techniques. The workshop is designed to give participants an understanding of how to prepare for upcoming interviews (online or face-to-face) and get an understanding of the purpose and structure of competency based interviews.

The PRINCE2® 7 Foundation Exam Preparation Course and Certification is a three-day intensive, instructor-led course designed to teach participants the fundamental building blocks of the PRINCE2® approach and to prepare them for the PRINCE2® 7 Foundation Certificate exam.

The A-Z of Irish Local Government is designed to give an overview of each of the key services, and the principal pieces of legislation underpinning the services currently being provided by Local Authorities in Ireland. The programmeis ideal for new entrants to a local authority or existing staff members who would like to expand their knowledge of their local authority. This includes indoor, outdoor, technical, and administrative staff. It is an excellent programme for helping staff prepare for interviews.  The A-Z of Irish Local Government programme is currently available as a series of ten live webinars that are tailored to an individual Local Authority.

The Legislative Training Programme addresses key legislation areas of: Governance and Reform, Housing, Planning, Environment, Water and Roads & Transportation Services in Irish Local Authorities.  It looks at how legislation shapes Local Government structures and is suitable for middle to senior management levels.

The programme combines theory and practice with case studies and bespoke resources for each local authority. This is a modular learning programme, where participants will attend interactive sessions and have access to the course material and additional resources on Moodle. The course can be delivered in person or online.

The primary purpose of the CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice qualification is to develop participants’ knowledge and skills and to build their expertise, confidence and credibility to deliver value in their organisations and to the people served by Human Resources (HR) and Learning and Development (L&D) professionals. This qualification will give participants a solid foundation for careers in the people profession, incorporating both Human Resources and Learning & Development.

CIPD qualifications set the international standard for people professionals. When participants complete the qualification, they will be awarded CIPD Foundation Membership, and the designation “Foundation CIPD” after their name. This starts to build their credibility in the people profession, shows that they are serious about their development and that they have a strong base of knowledge to build on.
