Audit and Governance

The Board Members of a public body must ensure that there is not only robust financial reporting processes in the organisation which they govern, but also that there is a sound system of internal control in place in the organisation.  While all Board Members are unlikely to be financial experts, they are collectively accountable for the statutory accounts and meeting other relevant reporting and disclosure requirements.

The Public Body Financial Governance for Senior Managers workshop will assist Board Members and other Senior Executives to understand the key concepts and issues which arise in the review of the financial reports and systems in a public interest body.
