Management Development

This programme is designed to provide a good understanding of organisational development and organisational design and their relevance for organisations across the public sector. Organisational development and design are two highly important, interlinking topics, essential to ensuring efficient and effective public sector organisations.

Organisations need to enhance strategic capacity and capability in order to build high performing, results oriented organisations. Therefore, managers who are driving organisational change need to broaden their specialist knowledge in the change field and understand how these disciplines will support the delivery of strategic and change goals.

Organisational Development takes a broad, inter-disciplinary approach to addressing organisational issues and finding relevant, sustainable solutions to deliver change. OrganisationD requires involvement of stakeholders and alignment of systems, processes and behaviours to bring about sustainable, impactful change.

Organisational Design focuses on ensuring structures, processes, systems, roles and activities are aligned and maximised to efficiently and effectively deliver on the business purpose.
